Spotify made a terrible start in 2018 just after famous music publisher Wixen filed a huge $ 1.6 billion copyright infringement lawsuit.
The infringement lawsuit filed in the California federal courts claims that Spotify hosted works by thousands of Wixen authors without an appropriate license. Spotify was struggling with copyright issues on the platform. This is not the first lawsuit against the company.
